Given that Splix is a new service, it's difficult to foresee what types of behavior might be considered abusive. Since we currently only provide support for the mixing of YouTube videos, it seems likely that video sources that aren't in violation of YouTube's terms of service will also be fine at Splix. As to commenting guidelines, just don't be a jerk (advertising in a comment is considered to be extremely "jerkish").
